At Beare Flooring, transparency is a core part of how we do business. That’s why every quote we give is fully itemised — so you can see exactly what you’re paying for, line by line.

By showing every detail — from materials and labour to installers’ travel and floor preparation — you always know exactly where your money is going. We list product specifics, such as the carpet fibre, its ounce rating, and the thickness of timber and hybrid planks, so you can compare quotes like-for-like and feel confident in the value you’re receiving.
This means no hidden costs, just complete transparency from the start.

When it comes to floor preparation, we pride ourselves on doing things right from the start and being upfront about the process. Our quotes highlight the need for floor preparation, but the exact cost can only be confirmed once our installers are on site and able to properly assess the floor.

One example is when uplifting tiles — we don’t know what condition the substrate beneath is in until the tiles are removed. It may be damaged, or the tiles may not come up cleanly, which can require extra work before your new flooring can be installed.
Rather than overestimating and charging you for work that may not be required, we prefer to inspect and price it accurately — so you only pay for what’s genuinely needed.
