We offer furniture assistance which involves our installation teams moving the heavy items from room to room as they work. However we do need you to move all of your small items and breakables out of the relevant areas prior to our installation team’s arrival to make the process as smooth as possible for everyone.

Yes it sure does, each product we supply has its own specific warranty from our suppliers. All Beare Floorings installations also come with a lifetime installation warranty. Enquire with one of our flooring specialists to find out what specific warranty applies to your product.

Hard Flooring such as Hybrid & Vinyl Planking will be your best solution. Being easy to care for and highly durable. Features such as scratch, stain and fade resistance often make it hard to go past these durable flooring options.

If it’s carpet you need for your family home be sure to select a “Solution Dyed Nylon” or “Solution Dyed Polyester” carpet. Being solution dyed is a key factor here and we discuss this more on our blog.

Hybrid Flooring & Vinyl Planking are hands down the easiest products to care for with pets and also the most durable – often being scratch, stain and fade resistant these hard flooring options tick all the boxes for durability. When choosing a pet friendly carpet be sure to stick to “Solution Dyed Nylon Carpets” as this fibre will be the most durable and easy to care for. 

We suggest hard surfaces if you suffer from allergies, such as Hybrid, Vinyl Planking or Timber Flooring – the reason being, dust will sit on top of the floor allowing for an easy cleaning process. 

If you are heart set on installing Carpet then we suggest sticking to a synthetic fibre would be best. As natural fibres such as Wool are naturally fluffing fibres & will create excess dust.

Selecting flooring for any situation is about balancing your expectations & budget. For common areas such as lounges, hallways, kitchens etc we would suggest “Vinyl Planking” for the budget conscious and a stain resistant carpet for the bedrooms such as “Apartment”

“Solution Dyed Nylon” is the best carpet fibre for stain resistance and it’s also very easy to clean. Hard surfaces such as Hybrid Flooring are stain, scratch and fade resistant. Of course there is Vinyl planking too.

When comparing quotes from flooring companies ensure the quotes you receive are itemised, and product specifications like OZ ratings for carpets and thickness of planks for hard flooring are all specified in writing. This means you have the necessary information to be sure you are comparing similar quality flooring products.

Beare Flooring offers an uplift and disposal service, so you can rest easy knowing that when we have completed your project we will also have disposed of all the rubbish, including your old flooring.

A “loop pile carpet” is where the yarn is pulled through the backing and then back up to the top, continuously creating a looped texture. 

A “cut pile carpet” has one extra step during manufacturing where a machine goes along the top and cuts all of the loops to create a soft luxurious looking carpet

Durability in carpet comes from a heavy fibre. A heavy fibre means your carpet is going to move less over time, most wear in carpet happens from movement. Meaning the heavier the fibre the less wear. Nylon is heavy in weight and high quality. We would suggest considering this if you are looking for a durable carpet.

The term “Solution Dyed” means that the carpet is dyed right through to its core. If you think of this in these terms this will help clarify it for you. Prior to solution dyeing fibres would appear like a “radish.” Coloured on the outside and white on the inside – a solution dyed fibre would present itself as a carrot – for example the colour in a carrot runs right through to the centre of it. This feature means your carpet is more fade & stain resistant due to being solution dyed. The answer being yes.

It is important to vacuum your carpet regularly to extend its lifespan – dust and debris build up from foot traffic, pets and spills. These debris embed themselves in the Carpet and overtime these wear against the carpet fibre & backing causing it to break down.

Treat spills as soon as possible – Liquid stains immediately blot away the excess liquid with a colourfast cloth or paper towels. For more thicker spills such as food or mud use a flat blunt object to scrap away the excess spill – Never rub a thicker spill as this will push the debris deeper into the Carpet making it harder to remove.

When choosing a carpet OZ rating is one of the most important things you should understand. It is a reference to the weight of the fibre. This is used as a scale to compare products & it ensures you are looking at a comparable product when receiving your quotes. The higher the OZ rating the more fibre the carpet has on it. Meaning the heavier, thicker & more luxurious it is.

Being inherently stain resistant means that the fibre itself has these characteristics within it – there is no added treatment which may wear off over time. Fibres such as nylon and polyester are inherently more stain-resistant than others, like wool.

Carpet underlay is very important and relatively inexpensive in the scheme of your project, a good quality underlay will prolong the life of your new carpet & dramatically increase comfort.

Depending on the condition of your existing underlay, yes in some cases you can reuse it. We suggest inspecting the underlay in particularly high traffic areas before making this decision and discussing this with our team.

There are a few components that come into quoting your carpet replacement. Firstly purchasing the carpet itself, based on the carpet you choose your quote can vary substantially, from affordable to mid range or luxurious  – that’s why we offer a price guide on our website so you can get a sense for the price range you would be selecting from, then comes installation, underlay, and finally uplifting & disposing of your existing flooring. All of these factors combine to give you the cost of your carpet replacement, speak to a representative today on the specific product you would like us to quote for a better understanding of the total price. 

Carpet tiles are very durable. As with any product there are different options within the term “carpet tile” but the general product itself is a great option for high traffic areas. Typically used in commercial spaces, carpet tiles are most suited to this application as they can be easily pulled up and replaced tile by tile if damage or stains beyond cleaning occurs.

Yes, Carpet Tiles can be used in your home. However, they are directly glued down to the substrate floor without any underlay. The end result being a lot less comfortable than residential carpet to walk on.

Yes, we often fit carpet tiles to stairs in our commercial projects. These are fitted with a metal non-slip stair nosing of which there are many different versions in colour and shape for you to choose from.

Yes they do, infact you will notice an improvement in the acoustics in your space immediately after install. Should you require extra acoustic qualities, some of our ranges such as “Essence Maze” are available with an added acoustic backing – Speak to our Team if you require a specific rating to be met.

Yes, some of our ranges have different designs that link in together to create a unique look. Changing the direction your carpet tile is laid in can also completely change the design. Link to range here – “Essence Plain”

Carpet Tiles can be used in but are not limited to the following spaces: businesses, corporate offices, educational spaces, healthcare facilities, hospitality, and retail spaces.

Yes they do, typically carpet tiles come in 500mm x 500mm squares. There are other variations available in some designs such as 600mm x 600mm & the modern designed planks 1.00m x 250mm.

Depending on the design you select and its specifications carpet tiles can be laid in a variation of methods to create different appearances.

This is a term given to hard flooring that is installed using a click system. Enabling the flooring to float on the substrate. Floating floors feel great to walk on due to having a bit of movement within them from not being fixed down to the substrate; this creates a cushioning effect as you walk throughout.

Hybrid Flooring is the latest innovation to hit the flooring market. Combining into one the best attributes of floating floors & waterproof products like vinyl planking. In most cases it is scratch, stain and fade resistant. The perfect all rounder.

For hybrid flooring, regular sweeping or vacuuming is the best way to remove dirt and debris. For more heavy-duty cleaning, use a mop or a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.

It also important to not use excessive amounts of water when cleaning Hybrid Flooring – This floor is designed to be water resistant (while some ranges are waterproof) but excessive water can damaging.

Hybrid flooring is supplied with an acoustic underlay which is fitted directly on the back of the planks by the supplier. This helps with impact absorption, noise reduction & can even help absorb a small amount of an uneven substrate.

The answer is yes, it sure can! Hybrid flooring is a great option for apartment complexes or three story walk ups where body corporate has a minimum acoustic rating required. Ranges like our Aqua Stone V7 & 8.5mm meet these requirements & require no additional acoustic underlays to be installed. Other flooring options may need additional acoustic underlay to be glued down to the substrate prior to installation of flooring which can be an expensive & unnecessary option.

Yes it is very durable, as any product on the market there are different versions of Hybrid which will perform differently. Beare Flooring carefully select our product ranges to ensure we only work with the highest quality products and can discuss the durability further with you in our FREE measure & quote. 

One of the major advantages of this product is the fact it can be installed directly over tiles. Typically with little to no floor preparation required. It is a requirement that your floor is level for the boards to be laid over. 

Hybrid & Laminate do have a lot of similarities, they are both click together floating floors. However, the main difference is the material they are constructed of. 

Laminate is made out of HDF (High Density Fibreboard) which is not waterproof and is prone to expanding & retracting with temperature change in comparison Hybrid Flooring is primarily made out of SPC (Lime Stone & Polymer) which results in a waterproof material that performs extremely well under temperature changes.

YES! We can install Hybrid Flooring on your staircase, in-fact some of our products even offer custom “bullnose” (square edge) stair nosings. We send the product away to a local manufacturer prior to instillation, who hand molds the planks into custom stair nosings in your selected colour – These are then glued down and siliconed around the edges. The result a stunning custom feature staircase!

SPC is a version of Hybrid Flooring (Stone Polymer Composite), this is a high quality version which typically has a high content of Limestone within it making the product extremely stable & hard wearing.

The size of hard flooring boards can dramatically affect the aesthetic in a room. For example using a longer, wider plank in a big space will help to make it look grand. If you used a shorter, thinner plank in a big space it would look too busy. Bigger planks for bigger spaces, smaller planks for smaller spaces is what we suggest.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles & Luxury Vinyl Planks. Which means these are a high quality vinyl product that comes in modular shapes such as their names suggest. Tiles or planks, these products are a great solution for common areas and wet areas.

Yes, Vinyl Planking is an ideal product for a bathroom or toilet as it is a waterproof product & installation times are minimal in comparison to installing Ceramic Tiles.

Yes you can install vinyl planking over tiles however, the tiles will require a coat of levelling compound over them to fill in the grout lines & create a surface of which the vinyl planking will adhere to.

Yes we often install vinyl planking on stairs, it is however very time consuming and with that comes high labour costs. Speak to our team to discuss your options.

Cleaning for Vinyl Planking involves vacuuming or sweeping to remove dirt, dust and debris – For a more heavy duty clean use a mop or a damp cloth. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or scrubbers.

This depends on the size of the room/area we are installing the product in – but in most instances this can be achieved in 1 day.

Vinyl is an extremely durable product and when installed correctly and maintained properly the product can last anywhere from 10-20 years.

Apart from being affordable and highly durable Vinyl Planking is also waterproof quick to install with great wear warranties!

Vinyl Planking can be used in any room in the home, but it is especially suitable for areas that there is a possibility of spills. Bathrooms, kitchens and laundries are ideal situations for Vinyl Plank due to the product being waterproof and easy to clean.

Luxury Vinyl Plank is made primarily of a Vinyl material called PVC. This material is hardwearing scratch resistant and waterproof. These characteristics make this product highly desirable for the family home.
