Pioneer Brushed Wide Engineered Timber
Pioneer Brushed Wide pairs real Australian hardwood with a tactile brushed finish and a generous 180mm board. It is timber flooring for people who want to feel the grain, not just see it.
Texture You Can Feel
Brushing opens the surface of the timber, lifting the grain into a low relief you can sense underfoot and see in raking light. It also makes everyday scuffs and marks part of the character rather than blemishes on a mirror finish.
The Case For Wide Boards
At 180mm, each board shows more of the timber's story: longer grain runs, fuller gum vein features in the Spotted Gum, broader colour play in the Blackbutt. Fewer joins give rooms a calmer, more established feel.
Blackbutt or Spotted Gum
Two of Australia's favourite species, both real, both on a stable engineered core with a micro bevel edge and UV cured coating. Blackbutt brings pale, even warmth; Spotted Gum brings depth and drama.
